I ordered this dress 6 months before my wedding, I went in for a fitting 4 weeks before my wedding... seamstress was unable to alter according to salesperson... and unable to even do the alterations in time for the wedding if she even was able to... and I live 5 hours away... drove to store for fitting on Thursday, was promised dress on Saturday... the salesperson/owner was OUT OF TOWN and unable to be contacted.... So I made a 5 hour trip, expecting to stay in town for 3 days for my dress... for NOTHING... and left with NOTHING... no money, no dress.... NOW... 4 weeks before wedding, I have no dress and they refuse to give me my money back, only a store credit: reminder I no longer live in Windsor, ON and am 5 hours away! Regardless, I do not EVER wish to shop at the store again. It's too bad because I have shopped here for 25yrs, prom dresses over the years, mother of the bride dresses, christening gowns... etc... and over a $500 dress that was THEIR failure to follow through with delivery of a finished gown: I am left with NOTHING. Is it really worth a poor review, small claims court and costly expenses... I guess so, they do not wish to give me back my money for my dress, which they have had the money for, I paid for FULL, in cash, MONTHS ago. Additionally, I purchased all my accessories, earrings from this store.... shoes, undergarments specific for this dress, etc... and they are useless. Stress, no gown... 4 weeks before my wedding... that is suppose to be my special day.... NO I would NOT shop at this store... I wonder why.
